CO for the New Year. Condo was finished the day before we arrived...brand new bathroom. Skiing/boarding, ice skating with G,G,T and E. Hiking and mtb on down days. Snow was "meh."
Snowmobiling in WI, snowMAN sighting on Pickerel Lake. Keith and Terri made it up again for a fun weekend. Made it to Willy's Still. Rich got lost, per usual. Met a monkey. His name was George.
Snowbro'd with usual suspects, got 30 days in. Pow day with Christine and Badger was excellent. New Belgium scavenger hunt with Michelle.
Wound up spending night in hospital with heart arrythmia. Yay. I lived. Then drove through a snowstorm to WI. Found out that night Uncle Doug had passed. Low point of year. Loved that guy.
Spring break was supposed to be Western Slope, but weather turned bad. We bailed for the southeast, stayed at a cool Air BnB in Canon City. Rode Oil Well Flats and it was good. Pueblo Reservoir was only ok. Headed over to Salida and hit Monarch for a couple poofy pow days. Wasn't warm like Michelle wanted, but it was GOOD.
Went to visit Dennis and Cheryl for Easter in FL. Had typical fun with them, beautiful sunset, and found new appreciation for "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." Absolute nightmare trip home...via Texas. Ugh.
Amazing final days at Loveland in May. Banked slalom with Kat and Gags...then BIG HIKE to hit out of bounds chute run on a perfect bluebird day. So good.
Biked Peoria, went up to MI and rode and saw Keith and Marcy draggin.
Early June Michelle went west. We left the kitties behind :(. Mtb in Breck for our anniversary. Started searching for a new pad with Clare and Tom.
Michelle came home for July 4...we went boating and came back at the end of a rope for the first time. Bummer.
Solo trip for me to BroCo, stayed in the garage. Rode 10+ hours in 3 days and it was awesome. Met up with Fendel on the way home.
Michelle climbed Pikes Peak!!!
Made an offer on a house in Brook Forest. Outbid, then deal fell through and we turned down opportunity to take it. Rough deal, but wasn't the right place or time.
Trip to Salida with Scott and Christine...Mike and Scott rode Monarch Crest. Fun ride on S Mtn with everyone next day. Hiked James Peak wilderness...probably prettiest hike ever in CO. Rode up Rollins Pass, 14 mile climb...I almost beat Michelle's ebike. Firetower evening with Gaskins.
Got boat going again for KY Lake trip over Labor Day.
Big Woods Epic in BroCo was AMAZING, per usual. Love our Indiana peoples. Got to meet Gethan and take a boat ride.
Beautiful day at the beach in October, then another trip west. Emma's b-day, mtb down by Castle Rock. Did some more house shopping and just about quit. The day we left...2 properties lowered prices. Hmmmmmm.
Made offer on Niakwa house...ACCEPTED. Sweet!
Put In Bay for Halloween...yes..we can STILL drink all day and all night.
Mike and parents fly out for home inspection on Niakwa...which fails MISERABLY. Bummer.
After discussion, we decide to try ONE LAST TIME. Offer on Sun Creek townhome. After 3 days...ACCEPTED. Yes!

November trip to CO. Got to see our new pad for the first time, and got our first laps of the season. Thanksgiving with the Jamoc crew at Gags'.
Froze our butts off in early Dec with snow and bikes and then more snow and snowmobiles and VERY COLD temps in Mercer. Got everything up to Pickerel Palace...no flying squirrels this year, but we had OTTERS. :)
Ending the year happy and healthy...and hoping condo sells soon!
